CHEM-DRY IS DESERT SMART
The Utah Division of Water Resources has stated that water conservation is imperative in order to: Delay expensive capital investments to upgrade or expand existing water facilities; Reduce sewage flows, delaying the need for more wastewater treatment facilities; Conserve energy as less water needs to be treated, pumped and distributed to the consumer; Lessen the leaching of chemicals and sediments into streams and aquifers; Reduce stream diversions, thereby enhancing water quality, environmental and recreational functions.
So in the interest of conservation, Utahns have been urged to run laundry machines and dishwashers only when they are full, to shorten shower time and replace showerheads and faucets with water-efficient models and use a hose nozzle or turn off the water while washing vehicles. Carpet cleaning may seem a corner to cut in the interest of water conservation, but weighing and measuring the 160 gallons against 100,000 dust mites per square yard and more than 200,000 microbes of bacteria per square inch, well, is it a conundrum? A necessary evil? Akin to the aforementioned measures for conservation, routine carpet cleaning for a healthier home can be done water smart.
Chem Dry’s process uses a Certified Green Cleaner, millions of microscopic carbonated cleaning bubbles and a fraction of the water used by traditional steam cleaners. This process is not only Greener its Cleaner. Here in Utah, less water is more, but conservation aside, less water means less drying time and zero chance for mold or bacteria to grow.
The Carpet and Rug Institute has awarded Chem-Dry it’s Platinum Seal of Approval after rigorous testing and having measured how well the extractor recovers water. Chem-Dry’s truck mounted hot water extraction cleaning uses about one-fifth the water of a traditional cleaner. Chem-Dry’s avant-garde process of combining natural cleaning ingredients and carbonation removes the soil and grime at award winning levels.
Going Green, Eco Friendly, All Natural, Organic or Water Smart is easier than ever before as the means to live in that manner are more readily available. Another way, a drier way, is by calling Mr. Chem-Dry.
