Facts You Need To Know bout Pet Urine In Your Carpets:

Urine deposits on carpet does not stay there,It penetrates the fibers And contaminates both the backing of the carpet and the flooring material below the carpet.Often,without you knowing,pet will  urinate continually in the same general location.

It has a pyramid effect,It seeps into the backing and padding. The surface stain may only appear to be the size of a baseball but the stain in the padding and the sub-floor level may be the size of a dinner plate.

Urine odors can permeate from the floor, be it cement or wood,from the tack strip, and even from the framework of the house behind the walls.

As the urine dries, the liquid evaporates but urine crystals become even more concentrated and pungent. Simple cleaning will not remove this odor.Eventually comes back after dry.

How P.U.R.T Works:

After the source and severity of the odor are determined by using our black light,then the carpet will be rinsed and extracted with hot water to remove the bulk of urine crystals.

P.U.R.T will be applied heavily to the damaged areas and allowed to dwell  to make  sure it comes in contact with the urine deposits in the padding of the carpet.

P.U.R.T is not a part of the general Chem-Dry Cleaning Process and since we have to work the solution into all areas affected  by the urine , it is the only treatment we incorporate that we have to saturate your carpets.

Only then we do a hot water extraction on the affected areas, a sanitizer is applied to kill the bacteria caused by the urine. Since P.U.R.T works on the proteins of the urine to neutralized the odor. The odor will come alive but it means its working.Once the area is completely dry , the odor is GONE ! !

P.U.R.T can help with staining on carpet but its primary function is to break down the urine crystals so they won't continue to smell year after year,  It  won't function as a deterrent to your pets, if they are not trained, chances are that eventually they will mark their territory again.
